In 1996 I graduated from Sunderland University B.Hons Fine Art.
Packs were made up of fabrics, ribbons, buttons, coloured threads, and bits & bobs. Joined community groups to make small picture pieces, Sewing For Sanity was set up.
Created female-form sculptures and mixed media prints.
Reminding everyone
"breathe " when the needle goes in

Then opened a vintage haberdashery and gallery selling my own artwork. Called

It's not important how the picture looks, just that you have enjoyed making it and feel focused and relaxed.
