Sewing 4 Sanitywas set up expressly for women to help ease anxiety, depression, and stress of everyday life. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can try hand stitching as a means of self-care by focusing on being creative and things that are important to them. The intention is to provide a very safe, simple way for women to express their deepest emotions, thoughts, and concerns without necessarily involving words.

All you need is a needle and thread, scraps of fabric, and a few buttons and beads.

Vicky Wolfenden shows off one of her hand stitched pieces. " I have no interest in sewing but now I have started I cannot put it down"

Pre-printed fabric with unique images.   Just thread a needle and follow the lines. Remember to take your time and enjoy.

Once you have your layout, build your picture using floral material, and old lace. I have cut green circles for my cabbages and popped a stitch thru the center.
